How to assemble a standard wardrobe drawer

Included parts

4 × 16mm screws

1 × 45mm screw

Drawer front brackets

Drawer sides

Tools you’ll need

Screwdriver

Hammer

Impact driver

Drill with a 5mm drill bit

Assembly steps

1. Fit the drawer front brackets

   Push the drawer brackets into the pre-drilled holes in the drawer front.

   Make sure the side of each bracket showing the screws and letter is facing outwards.

   

2. Tap the brackets into place

   Use a screwdriver and hammer to gently tap the brackets fully into position.

   

3. Attach the drawer sides

   Position the metal drawer sides over the drawer front brackets, then tighten the screws to secure them.

   The sides should sit flush with the drawer front once tightened. You may need to loosen the screws slightly to allow each side to click into place.

   

4. Fit the drawer base

   Line up the four holes in the drawer base with the mounting lugs on the metal sides. Tap the base firmly into place.

   

5. Fit the drawer back

   Slide the drawer back into place between the metal drawer sides.

   

6. Secure the back to the sides

   Install four 16mm screws through the holes at the back of the metal sides and into the drawer back.

   Use two 16mm screws on each side of the drawer back.

   

7. Secure the base to the back

   Install one 45mm screw through the pre-drilled hole underneath the drawer base and into the drawer back.
