What is the process for picking up my order?
Your order will be manufactured by your selected required by date, you will receive an email to confirm that your order is ready to be picked up from our factory. You do not need to request a time slot to pick up your order, however, it may be a good idea if you are coming from outside of Auckland to check that your order is ready to be picked up before you set off.
How do I arrange delivery?
You can chose to have your order delivered in the check-out process when placing your order. Once you get to the ‘shipping’ stage, you will be provided with the option to select shipping to your address. If your order is being delivered outside of Auckland, it will be picked up by our freight company; Conroy Removals, and you will be contacted by them after the uplift to confirm a delivery time. If your order is being delivered within Auckland, a member of our team will be in touch with you the day before delivery to confirm.
Please note: the ‘date required’ selected at checkout is an expected production date, NOT a delivery date. Once your order is completed, it will be booked on to the next available truck coming to your region. Trucks have specific uplift days depending on where they're going, with some only coming in once a week. Whilst our team will try their best to make the truck if it arrives before your required date, there are no guarantees.
Delivery schedules vary enormously depending on location:
Auckland delivery: allow an extra 1-3 business days
North Island Delivery: allow an extra 2-5 business days from uplift
South Island Delivery: allow an extra 5-14 business days from uplift
How much is delivery?
The cost for delivery is calculated based on the size of your order and your location. Once you have added everything to your shopping cart, you can use the shipping calculator at the bottom of the page by entering your postcode and region, this will provide you with a quote.
It is telling me the system can’t find my postcode for delivery; how do I get a quote?
To get a manual quote from our freight company an order will need to be in our system for us to see the cubic meterage. To do this you can select organise your own shipping as the freight option and bank deposit as the payment option, meaning you won’t have to pay anything to place the order. We can then retrieve a quote and send through an updated invoice for you to decide if you’d like to proceed or cancel the order. Alternatively, you could find the nearest postcodes to yours and try those as an estimate, however the price for this is subject to change once the correct address is in the system.
How long after placing will I receive my order?
Our production lead time varies depending on demand. Typically, it stays between 7-15 working days. As part of the checkout process, you will be prompted to select a ‘required date.’ The soonest date available indicates our current production lead time, however, this is NOT a delivery date. Please note trucks for outside of Auckland uplift from us on certain days, to get a more accurate eta please email info@cabjaks.co.nz.
I’m expecting delivery tomorrow but haven’t heard anything.
The date when selecting at checkout is a required by date for production, not a delivery date. If you are wanting to confirm an uplift day with a rough eta, please contact info@cabjaks.co.nz with your order number.
What happens if my order gets damaged by the freight company?
If your order is damaged in transit, you should get in contact with the office and we will arrange to have a replacement made and sent out to you as quickly as possible.
