We got a question from a customer recently asking why the warranty on our products was only for one year. "That's a bloody good question" we thought. So we got together and had a good think about it.
Long story short... we couldn't find any reason why our warranty was for such a short period. So we have increased our product warranty to 10 years.
As a rule of thumb anytime our customers have a problem with the workmanship or quality on any of our products, hardware or fittings we replace them no questions asked and at no cost.
Where a customer has made a mistake in ordering or damaged an item, we will do everything that we can to help sort out the problem as quickly as possible but will charge for the replacement parts unless they are as new and we can reuse them.
The hardware we use is already covered by a lifetime warranty, our board is made for sustainably grown NZ forests, is manufactured in the Waikato and also guaranteed. Our workmanship, we standby. Like most we don't always get it right but we do always do our level best to make it right if we got it wrong.
It was a pretty easy decision to make.
